The only way I can see to fix this is immediately upon declaring a war or being declared upon - pause the game, open the console, and enable "yesman". Then use this to create non-aggression pacts and then alliances between your allies in the war. This way if they are declared upon you are called in.

It doesn't make sense to me that say, if during what would cannonically be Rob's war, the Glovers remained neutral, and the Iron Islands decided to invade Lord Glover's lands, that King Rob would just let it happen because "whoops he didn't join me".

I think the series of console commands I mentioned should be implemented as a script or something that fires upon declaring war or being declared upon so that the situation mentioned in the linked post can not happen.

Thoughts/alternate solutions ? What do you do when you find yourself in the situation mentioned in the linked post ?
