Here is a thread dealing with eliomap and my favourite scenario, Ages of Struggles (1337-1915).
I'll pick up an european nation as test, Danmark.
This is a political map for Europe at the start.

In 1337 we have military alliance, military access and treaty agreement with Sverige.
We have 15 provinces, 8000 soldiers, 10 warships, 100 Manpower and 2500d as treasure.
We make now map trading by diplomacy.


Then we recruited 2000 soldiers in Viken province with low maintenance,
we went to Innovativeness +1 in DP (stability at +2 now),
we made royal marriages with Eire and Scotland.

After a month we reached:
Land tech lev. 1,Naval tech lev 1,Trade tech lev 1,Infra tech lev 1
let’s send merchants to european CoTs
Our monthly income is 12.5 d, leaders are Aztecs with 47d
Mameluks is DoF for sunni
England is DoF for catholics

We decide to purchase only LT for now,
we promoted bailiffs in every province except capital province,
we made RM with England


Our merchants had success in Europe.


Our monthly income is 13.5d, leaders are Incas with 51d
We shared explorations with Portugal


we had success in Thrake


We made a RM with Bretagne
