CTD when building naval base in Zurich

Playing Switzeland in Revolutions, I consistently encounter a CTD when the naval base in Zurich is completed.
After deleting this line

project = { type = 5 date = { year = 1896 month = february day = 21 } }

from the save file the game works normally.
Is there a way to build that base (otherwise having to research naval technologies is a bit pointless)? If not, the option to build it should be removed from the pull-down menu.

If you mean clipper or steamer shipyard factories, then it is just hardcoded that they can only be built when adjacent to a body of water. That lake counts as a body of water to build these shipyards next to. Never experienced this CTD myself, though.

No, not a factory, but a naval base. With a right click on the province, I have selected "build naval base". On the completion date, the game CTDs.

Oh yeah! How weird! Right clicking and that coming up as an option!? Well done for finding this bug, I had never noticed before.

Something to be fixed in a patch no doubt.
