Crash in 1914 Senerio

Ricky. Latest version with Hotfix 6. XP Pro,

If you play a game with the 1914 scenario everything will be fine. After surrendering or winning if you go to play it again it will load partway and then crash to desktop. No error message.

Is it just me or do others have this problem?

My first thoughts on this one would be a faulty savegame file. Perhaps making a couple of saves on the same date but with different names. Having autosave on might also be worthwhile. Do you have a history log at the bottom of your savegame file?

I have autosave on every 5 months. I do have a history log.

Well it's not a huge problem. I'll just restart after every game in 1914.
