What is the event code that signals the end of a crusade? Because my crusader king is leaking piety through the anus, but holds Jerusalem.

Of course crusades can end. I think there's an event for it, but I do not know its ID. If you look through the events files it should be there somewhere - IIRC it requires the target province to be owned by a Christian ruler, and the MMTH is reduced considerably the more of the surrounding provinces are also owned by Christian rulers.

The crusader events are in the file
crusader_events.txt
in the /DB/events folder of Crusader Kings I

However with a bit of patience crusades DO end on their own after a while.

When your ruler holds Jerusalem then in your game the crusade target actually IS Jerusalem and not some other province? ;-)
