Game won't launch

What is your game version?
Can't get to the main menu

What expansions do you have installed?
After Dark, Snowfall, Natural Disasters, Mass Transit, Green Cities, Parklife, Industries, Campus, Sunset Harbor

What mods are you using?
No mods

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
I was playing normally before the last update. After the update, I was able to launch the game and open a new map but there were too many issues. The next day I tried again and it didn't even launch the game. I tried: no mods, unsubscribe from all mods, uninstall the game, uninstall steam, no CITRIX app on my pc, firewall is ok, uninstalling the paradox launcher, and nothing works. I really enjoy the game, it's my therapy after work every day. Please help me

Can you replicate the issue? If yes, please explain how you did it.

Disabling all mods might not work either because some of them might be necessary to load your save.

Please compare your mods with the list below to see if any of them are in need of replacement. Also check the tab "broken"

I understand what you are explaining. The problem is: there are not saved games and if they were, I can't get to the main menu because the game won't launch. I uninstalled everything, including Steam and all folders related to CS. Installed Steam and CS. Even with that, the game won't launch.

You can bypass the launcher by following these instructions:

- Download the attached cities.bat.zip file
- extract cities.bat from it
- Place the .bat file in your game's Steam folder (In the same place as your cities.exe)
- Right click the game in your Steam library
- Go to properties
- Select Set Launch Options
- Copy and Paste cities.bat %command% into the input box
- Select Ok
- Run the game

Just follow those instructions and if you have the same problem as me (the game never start when you hit “play” on steam) it will start

Was having the issue after a clean install of Windows 11 and my entire system wipe. The above resolved the issue. Thank you.

Does not work!! Did all you said and I still cannot get into my savedgame. Started a new City and it worked. What is wroing with my saved game??
