I couldn't find any way to change my username in the profile/username section. I'd really like to be rid of this stupid name but i have DLC attached to it. Is there a way to change it?

As you've made posts in the forum it cannot be changed I'm afraid, due to various background complications.
You can change its email (to another address or a bogus one), disconnect it from Steam, then lodge an account deletion ticket at paradox.zendesk.com . Then make a new account with the same email if you wish, and give it a new name when you come back here.
