I am a windows 7 user , I downloaded game through Download Manager from Direct2Drive site , I installed game and when I am ready to launch it I am getting this message : ''Please reinstall your copy of East Indian Company from your original installation media'' . What's the problem , can anyone help me?

Under windows 7 the game seems to create a bugged shortcut so you should probably try to launch the game with the eastindia.exe file directly from the game directory.
It might be a problem with the data execution prevention system from windows 7.
