Can't complete mission in second Liverpool campaign

Hi all

I've got a mandatory mission in the second Liverpool campaign where I have to connect a factory and a hypermarket. As it's not a route I want to keep when done, all I have done is build 2 bus stops next to both destinations and created a route. I have made sure that the route is depot - destination A - destination B - depot.

However, the mission never shows as completed. I have even reversed the route so that it is depot - destination B - destination A - depot, but to no avail.

There's no specific type of transport required for the route.

Does anyone know how I would go about completing this?

It's been a long time since I've played the game, but IIRC, in order to complete a mission you need to cover both locations with two stops; one going in one direction and another in the opposite direction. So you will need to extend the line to do this.
