I have base game and House Divided and I am considering buying Heart of Darkness on Steam.
However Steam says it requires that I own Viki 2 on Steam, and I did not buy it electronically (only on DVD).
Will/and how I be able to download Heart of Darkeness and play it with my non-Steam game?
(say by manually copying it over my game)

I have a feeling that you would have to go with Amazon on this one. If Steam says you have to own the Steam version, then I would believe that. However, I've seen where folks have gotten the Amazon version to work in similar situations.
Of course, there is a big Steam sale going on right now that include V2 and all its additions, so it might be a good time to just go all-Steam in your case.
