I hadn't played China ever since before AHD came out, and I find it alltogether weird. It's 1866 and my westernisation count is merely 30%. Id didn't get one single event leading to military missions, western presence or influence... nothing.
The only decision available is to end the Manchu dominance but it requires 3,0 CON; considering that my CON has been stuck at 0,3 since game start, I must obviously be missing something.
If any one has a suggestion to make this game less boring, I'm all ears!
EDIT: I managed to get literacy up to 17,1% but it doesn't seem to have any influence on things
