After patch cant start game.

Description​

I update game and after i start play i get error. Downgrade version to 1.36.2 and all work fine but go back to live version i cant play the game. Verifity game, reinstall game and turn every mod off and still game dont start. My .net framework is newest and same for C++. and im in wrong section sorry.

I had the same problem and thought it's because my game path had Cyrillic (non-ASCII) characters, so I moved my game folder and it worked.

Check the error log in your Europa Universalis documents folder (Documents/Paradox Interactive/Europa Universalis 4/logs/error.log).

I just tried this. Does not fix the problem. Still getting the same error "[virtualfilesystem_physfs.cpp:1252]: Could not open file: pdx_settings.txt, error: permission denied

Did not work. I also tried deleting the files, as Vasi said in Steam community board, still not working. Worked fine until today's DLC.
