Advice for Multiplayer

Me and my friend are playing a game over a long time, and we've got a bit of a problem. I'm playing as Byzantium and he's playing as Trebizond, and we've come up against hard times.

I have Morea, Thrace, and Bulgaria, having lost Dobrudja to Wallachia, while he has Trabzon, Kastamon, and Angora. The general plan is to squeeze out the Ottoman Empire, giving me everything west of Anatolia, and giving Trebizond everything to the east, so he'll be finally annexing them. However, we don't know where to go form the situation above. Anybody got some tips?

Tell Trabzon to build cavalry and siege both OE cities ?
OE seems already at war with Karaman, so it wont be a huge problem.

Attack OE until its annexed...even with breaking peace if possible.
