Posting here never feels good. This is a notoriously toxic community and I know Ill face backlash from apologists. Still I will give it a try.
I have been a big fan of paradox and its many products for a long time. Purchasing most games and all respective dlc for years. From CK 2, to HoI 3, stellaris, cities skylines, victoria, warlock, prison architect, hell, even that dwarves game. For more than 10 years I have been loyally supporting and patronizing your products, with love, with pleasure.
I always saw people complaining about this business model but never really agreed with them. "If the base game delivers, why hate on the dlc?" I always thought.
Alas, things arent the same for a long time. Although purchasing all dlc ended in a considerable amount when contemplating them altogether , isolated, they were never really expensive. They offered a lot of content and I always bought them all without a second thought.
Nowadays.... when I see the large quantity of full games I could purchase for the same value you price your dlc... For example, I could buy 2, maybe even 3 triple A games from Ubisoft for the same value you are selling the latest CK 3 dlc... AGAIN! I cant help but feel offended, exploited and betrayed.
Paradox, its been a long road but I cant do this anymore.
I come here with a last request, please, think of the fans like me. Rethink your pricing policy, stop this hike. I dont know if its the final goal, but I will not subscribe to your service.
