Nice, your doing well, i have a question though, havent you forgoten to change your Policy Slider ? i mean thats the first thing one would change at start of a game, and even more so if you intend to westernise, atm youll be 24 years behind or more and that is increasing in time with new territory gain :rofl: or is that intended? just a question realy as i havent seen you change your Policy slider yet in your screeny at all especialy when already 24 years or so into your game.

Yes well in order to cement in all your heads how newb I am, I have in fact never changed a policy slider in my career as EU3 player except sometimes I move more towards land :rofl: . And I don't intend to westernize until at least 1729, I try to play to realism, and that was when Catherine the 2nd came into being.
Ah ok just wondering, but if you try to westernise in that time period youll find it impossible to change the policy's in time your going to be looking at around 40-50 years per policy change but anyway carry on not Westernising isnt that bad id think if you got enough money to keep up in tech, or outsmart your enemy.

Alright in order to cement my claim to my current land I went a temple building spree, incidentally I always seem to end up with ludicrous amounts of money but very sub-par technology can anyone explain that from looking at how I am playing
Golden Horde still seems to be having rebel problems
But this doesn't stop them declaring war on me
This war was actually a lot easier then one would think I was able to get a white peace with Kiva, and the ottomans didn't interfere at all, so I held the golden horde while waiting for the ottomans WE to go up, when it did i grabbed a white peace, and begin offense against the horde, I was able to finally claim 3 territories for a 12 war score.
I then set about converting these provinces to the one true faith. As you can see my armed forces are very depleted. I found out the hard way what happens when you get caught with zero morale, sigh 14k men gone.
As you can see the Byzantine Empire is whipping the Ottomans, the Mamluks are having internal problems with the Syrians.
Using a fabricate claim, I gain a temporary casus belli on Ukraine and promptly smash their armies.
However Novgorod is guaranteeing them so I am now also at war with them.
Atm my only vassal is Yaroslavl I intend to diplo-annex them.
I am a very technical player I expand in such a way that there is no religion differences in my provinces, helps with rebels I have found.
So now all my provinces are Orthodox.
And finally Yaroslavl for the second time joins my kingdom.
As you can see from this screen one of my provinces isn't connected to my others, as I have said i am a very meticulous player so I may have to 'liberate' the novgorod province.

I hold off the novgorod army, while i seige Ukraine and vassalise and claim Chernigov. I then claim the linking territory off novgorod.
Fast forward 2 years.
As you can see here I doubled my land forces to double my force limit and moved them into place for secret plan no2. codenamed: Breaking out the tartar.
But i notice that in face the golden horde is allied with the ottomans, mmm how to solve this I know I need a fallout, an ally.
Me : Hey Byzantines want to be my ally?
Them: No
me : Hey Byzantines want to be my ally?
Them :You just asked me and my answer is still no
me: Hey Byzantines want to be my ally?
Them : NO!
Me: Sigh guess I will need to find ano-
Them: Hey muscovy want to be my ally?
me: :wacko: sure /sigh why not?
With them to deal with the ottomans i declare war!
The byzantine empire promptly smash the ottomans, but I don't want them getting any stronger so I accept a white peace.
Me on the other hand, head deep into Volga tartar territory
and get a noice peace resolution!
and thats all for today folks, just so you can see how the rest of the world is going screen shot here. Novgorod is only still alive as they are allied with Scandinavia.

Whats your inflation? Might have something to do with why you have lots of money and poor tech.

Very nice. I wish I had had as much luck with Lithuania in my current Muscowy/Russia game. I had to manually disassemble them.

As of Now I have become the Muscovian Empire!
Aren't I splended :rofl: Astute watchers may notice that my stability takes -3 hit for the change but is back on 3+ stability for all the other screenshots. This is because I burnt about 1.2k ducats in order to raise myself instantly from 0 back to 3+ again. Once again from Magna Mundi I am scared if I'm not on 3+ at all times.

Diploing them means getting another slider hit towards decentralisation : that won't help :rofl:
Lacking in tech will be caused by:
A) poor provinces, both tax and trade good wise
B) a lot of said provinces
