Eh, I don't know. I was rather hoping for a Turing-complete scripting language with hooks into all the game engine functions. Preferably with a Lispish syntax. And runtime compilation to bytecode. :nods:
 
I hope the 'threat' ai function works well, because implemented properly, it's the real answer to blobbing. If the AI has even the slightest capacity to recognize that there's a growing threat nearby (same region/continent), and oppose it loosely in concert with other neighboring states, then even a human player could have a real challenge with any nation.
