I'd prefer to keep the reasons for the OC to myself for now.

As for the Opinion Maker... I think my thoughts on the value of that card are known. So I just handed it to the person directly opposite me at the table.

Scanning you was the better choice from my perspective. If I know I can trust you, then I can accept your team, and if it's accepted, then I get to distribute cards. Scanning kaiser doesn't help in that regard.
