[Forum Game] - World in Revolution: 1900

The United French Communes​


The time has come, people of France, to rise up and retake our country from the elitist clique that has corrupted and ruined it! Monarchists and plutocrats have oppressed the French working-man for far too long, and for what? International prestige, a fleeting dream of gloryhounds and power-hungry cravens? The so-called Emperor sends thousands of French boys off to die in the jungles and rice paddies of Asia, using the false flag of "national pride" to distract the people of France from realizing that he has stolen our right to self-determination, our right to an economic and social destiny of our own choosing!

I say that France has had enough of oligarchy, enough of plutocracy, and enough of monarchy! No longer will we oscillate between weak republic and tyrannical empire! The communes of France must join together and overthrow the moneyed interests, the landed nobility, that suck the very life-blood from the people and workers, the true people of France! No longer will I traffic in moderation or compromise: I say now that France will have true communal government, by and for the people, now and forever!

I call upon the Republic of Burgundy to rejoin us, their French brethren, in communal fraternity without recrimination or judgment, and to remember the horrors and bloodshed inflicted upon France and its people by the tyrannical German Emperor, who even now seeks to subjugate and destroy our socialist brothers in Hungary. The Communes of Burgundy will have full right of representation to the People's Congress and all the benefits of reintegration into our great French union, as well as their hard-won autonomy and freedom. Their victory against the forces of reaction deserves all the praise France can deliver and they will be cherished citizens in our new union.

Even now, our revolutionary forces march on royalist strongholds, carried forward by patriotic zeal and dreams of a bright socialist future. We will seize the means of production from the corrupt oligarchs who have oppressed the workers and people of France, restore democracy and liberty, and champion the cause of socialism for all the world to see! I call upon all like-minded thinkers and believers to join us in France, so that together we might forge a true communal nation and show the world the power and the glory of socialism.

As Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bohemia-Moravia I condemn the imperialism of the German King. Within days of our declaration of independence he immediately announces that he believes Germany should control land populated largely by non-German speakers with the objective of "freeing" the German population from its "oppressors" despite the fact that for hundreds of years the people of Bohemia and Moravia have been the ones that were oppressed. I call on all Bohemians, Czech or German, Slovene or Hungarian to come together in this period of crisis. We fight not because of ideology or nationality but so that the people of Bohemia, the Balkans and the World can have the freedom to choose who governs them and the right to be independent!

I call upon all new nations in the Balkans to put aside race and ideology and ensure that our freedom will not be taken from us right after we won it, I call upon the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth to assist us in our fight for independence, I call upon the United States of America to support nations that wish to follow her on the path of liberty and freedom, I call upon all free nations of the world, put aside your race and your ideology and fight so that the Balkans can be free! Arise free peoples of the world, today we fight for liberty!

The Union of Central American States​


The Central American States must express displeasure at any and all tenets of Communism. What communism preaches is nothing more than a dictatorship masquerading as the interests of the people. The Central American States also condemns the German Imperialism to claim Bohemia as it's own, along with the German attack on neutral ships blockading a country in the interest of the common good. It is clear that Germany is a threat and will always be unless it is forced to be reduced.

The United French Communes​


In response to the unprovoked belligerence of the German Emperor against the people of Bohemia and Hungary, the United French Communes hereby call for the formation of a popular front, setting aside ideological and regional differences, in opposition to the German Empire and its imperialist mission of subjugation against the people and nations of Eastern Europe. All nations who have been subjected to brutal German hegemony, whose rightful territory languishes under the German yoke, and who seek peace and freedom from the all-encompassing greed of the the German Empire, are welcome to join us in our struggle against yet another manifestation of the House of Hohenzollern's desire to oppress and destroy free-thinking Europeans.

We hereby set forth the Pact of Amiens, a document calling all signatories to immediate action against the German Empire should the Empire not desist in its current course of action. It is my fervent belief that, together, we might join as one continent to stop the unlimited aggression brought to bear by the Hohenzollern Emperor and bring about a new era of peace and prosperity in Europe.

The Pact of Amiens

Recognizing the illegitimacy of German claims on lands rightfully possessed by the Kingdom of Bohemia-Moravia,

Acknowledging the sovereignty and independence of the Kingdom of Bohemia-Moravia and the People's Republic of Hungary,

Rejecting German imperialism and militarism, which imperil the entire continent of Europe,

The undersigned nations hereby agree to create a united front against the German Empire, committing the full weight of their diplomatic efforts and military force against the Empire and its armies if German forces should enter the sovereign territory of either Bohemia-Moravia or Hungary.

Once German forces enter the territory of Bohemia-Moravia, Hungary, or that of any of the undersigned nations, all signatories shall be considered in a state of war with the German Empire.

There shall be no peace nor diplomatic traffic with the German Empire so long as their aggressive actions continue; only when the German Empire and its armed forces have agreed to a full surrender shall peace be considered.

Signatory nations agree to full cooperation and coordination against the German Empire, though command over an individual armed force shall be retained in full by its respective nation.

Negotiations for a lasting peace with the German Empire shall be conducted with all signatories in attendance.

Upon the cessation of hostilities with the German Empire, the terms of this treaty shall cease to be in effect.

The Qing Emperor denounces the Wu as puppets of the Western powers claiming to oppose them only to further their own gain support while they secure their hold over China. The moment they are victorious they will sign large sections of China over to the Western powers to be used as colonies for them while they are paid for their "Services". Are they not supplied by the Americans the great enemies of China who seek to turn her into just another Colony like they are already doing with large parts of Africa. I urge all true Chinese in Wu held lands to rise against them and together we will be victorious over them and their foul western Allies. The Situation seems bad but the Western Powers are crumbling. Already have France and Austria Hungary fallen to the power of the people of their own country. The Communist rising has crippled France's ability to react to events in the far East. Our brave Ally in Vietnam has now it seems gained a firm hold over Formerly French Vietnam and once the Wu are driven out the Former French concessions will once more belong to their rightful owner China. China does not want to conquer new lands, only restore lost lands back into the Chinese Empire. New countries are being formed in the newly occupied lands. Already a new Burmese kingdom is being created in liberated Burma and should the war go well new Hindu, Muslim, Sikh and Assamese states will also be formed inside the currently existing British Indian colony. Should Chinese forces be able to strike into Korea we will not take over the land but instead liberate them from the bonds of Japanese vassalage. China will triumph over the west. To this end Chinese court officials under the watchful eye of the Emperor himself are already working on a constitution for the China will give the Chinese people a number of rights cherished in the west. What ever the west can do the East will do better. A new offensive against internal corruption is also being launched. They call us backwards, corrupt and oppressive so we must prove them wrong. I must also offer an apology to the Russians. I was grossly misinformed by several now removed court members who claimed we were at war. I ask that we end this with a just peace. The Chinese will pay for any damages plus a bit extra to ensure all damages are met. I'm sorry this came to war.
 
The Free State of Turkey denounces the German expansion into the free and sovergin Balkan nations. Self determination is a prized legacy of the Republic and to deny these new countries this would be a horrendous crime in the eyes of the civilized world.

The Free State of Turkey recognises the free and independent states of Yugoslavia, Austria, Hungary, Galicia and Czechia.

As to the Qing, we call to the end of war in the East. Already Burma and Vietnam have declared independence and millions of men and women and children have died. We are willing to host a peace conference to any nation willing to broker peace in the East.

As per the elections, they are occuring without much bloodshed and/or fraud.

I also announce the demobalization of the Turkish Armed Forces, which have been on guard for Greek and Italian aggression. However, both nation have normalized relations with the Republic.

Finally, we announce that the Armenian person transfer was part of a previously arranged peace aggreement with the Armenian "state"

Her Majesty's Government strongly condemns the belligerent actions of the German Empire in central Europe. The situation in former Habsburg territories is an emerging one, requiring tact and caution. Instead, the German Government has announced sweeping territorial revisions, declaring the annexation of Austria proper and the border territories of the Kingdom of Bohemia and Moravia, while launching a military intervention in Hungary in flagrant violation of international law. If any land that possesses a German minority is now a target for German expansionism, then no European nation is safe. Such aggressive ambitions shall entirely upset the balance in Europe; not since the days of Napoleon has one nation aggrandised itself in such short order by such martial means.

Her Majesty's Government hereby recognises the dissolution of the Danubian Federation and the abdication of the Danubian Emperor. We proffer full diplomatic recognition to the Kingdom of Austria, the Kingdom of Bohemia and Moravia, the People's Republic of Hungary and any other nation within former Habsburg lands that would seek self-determination. We do not recognise, however, the annexation of Austria without the consultation of its people, and we condemn the intimidating behaviour of the German Government towards the Kingdom of Bohemia and Moravia and its unlawful intervention in the People's Republic of Hungary.

The United States of America offers full diplomatic recognition of all the newly independent nations. May each bring greater prosperity for its people.

The United States is also extremely displeased at the actions of the German Empire both in attacking the naval blockade in China, and their recent aggressive actions in Central Europe.

Provisional Government of Western Armenia​

Since time immemorial the Armenians have faced invaders and oppression. Finally, Armenia is independent, but this is not enough, it must also be free. To prove Armenia will be a free state, the Provisional Government is currently working on writing a constitution for the new Armenian state. Once it is written and ratified, it will apply to the whole of Armenia. We also seek trade and economic growth with our neighbors and friends all across the globe, and hope to establish good relations with all. The Provisional Government hopes to provide for a free Armenia, and a free world.

From hence forth, this government will be known as the Transitional Council of Armenia

Treaty of Tblisi

In order to support a free and independent Armenia, as well as good relations and economic ties, the Russian Empire and the Provisional Government of Western Armenia have agreed to the following terms:
1) Lower tariffs between the two countries to 5%
2) Russia will provide the arms and equipment necessary to supply the Armenian defensive forces for 75,000$ gold
3) Russia will provide blueprints for military technology such as rifles, machine guns, flamethrowers, airplanes, etc.

The Kingdom of Italy pledges to liberate all Italians under foreign rule, for too long have we been spit upon and subjected to cruel tyranny, now is our time. I call upon all Italian under foreign yoke to rise up and join the glorious Kingdom of Italy.
