Apparently the Georgians are exempt from the usual stylings of Muslim rulers.

ARTHUR: How do you do, good lady. I am Arthur, King of the Britons.
Who's castle is that?
WOMAN: King of the who?
ARTHUR: The Britons.
WOMAN: Who are the Britons?
ARTHUR: Well, we all are. we're all Britons and I am your king.
WOMAN: I didn't know we had a king. I thought we were an autonomous
collective.
DENNIS: You're fooling yourself. We're living in a dictatorship.
A self-perpetuating autocracy in which the working classes--
WOMAN: Oh there you go, bringing class into it again.
DENNIS: That's what it's all about if only people would--
ARTHUR: Please, please good people. I am in haste. Who lives
in that castle?
WOMAN: No one live there.
ARTHUR: Then who is your lord?
WOMAN: We don't have a lord.
ARTHUR: What?
DENNIS: I told you. We're an anarcho-syndicalist commune. We take
it in turns to act as a sort of executive officer for the week.
ARTHUR: Yes.
DENNIS: But all the decision of that officer have to be ratified
at a special biweekly meeting.
ARTHUR: Yes, I see.
DENNIS: By a simple majority in the case of purely internal affairs,--
ARTHUR: Be quiet!
DENNIS: --but by a two-thirds majority in the case of more--
ARTHUR: Be quiet! I order you to be quiet!
WOMAN: Order, eh -- who does he think he is?
ARTHUR: I am your king!
WOMAN: Well, I didn't vote for you.
ARTHUR: You don't vote for kings.
WOMAN: Well, 'ow did you become king then?
ARTHUR: Well, I downloaded CK2 from Paradox and . . .

Absolutely golden.

Looks like William is going to have to become the Conquerer all over again!

Oddly, he has the loyalist trait toward his son.

And going by the history files, Harald of Norway won, and then William beat him. I missed a great show because I was too busy paying attention to fighting the Seljuks. Bleh.

That last screen alone was sufficient to freeze my computer for a few seconds :p

The tsardom of Russia. Capital: Kalisz. The next tsar had Polish culture. All of Poland converted to Orthodoxy. And the funniest thing is - that Grigory II guy was one of the few Russian tsars around. His father was Polish as well XD

This needs an explanation:
I have never been in war with Fatimid Caliphate or their rebelling vassal. And yet they chose Canarias as their battlefield! It just blows my mind. None of them had Canarian Isles in their possession before.

Seems to be they are teleporting somehow. From another part of the map. Maybe game thinks that there is short way from Persia to Canarias, then that's why.

If you don't get what's going on here:

The Capet dynasty lost the French crown. The only living adult member is a 49-year old woman who somehow owns the Duchy of Cornwall as well as the county of Boulogne. She inherited the Duchy about two years ago for no apparent reason (at least, I can't figure it out) and just had like 6 children in the past year.

She was also married at least 3 times.

And even though she has 6 kids, her heir is some random bishop.

can't even into
