Bug: 1945 scenario - there is a missing data: "scenarios\1945\diplomacy.inc" => the whole 1945 scenario cannot be loaded.

I have this problem too.

Ouch, that's a leftover from my failed attempt to move all the diplomatic data (relations, milaccess, guarantees, etc.) to a single file. Forgot to change it, in my installation, the file was there so no error was shown. I updated the 1.8.8 version link in the first thread so you can redownload.

Now i got it to work, but i cant seemt go get the Soviet event on deciding the borders of germany to fire:/

The event about Polish western borders? I'll check it.

Question, Is the Tito-Stalin split already in?

Yes, it should work. In 1950 scenario it should be marked as already occured in the beginning of the scenario.

Can i continue my older save with this update or do i have to start a new one. :ninja:

As usual, yes! :)

Let's start with USSR for one:

Thanks a lot!

1945 scenario:

The USA having the event "Protecting our sphere of influence" and nuking Indonesia has reappeared, probably because the Netherlands as master of DEI joins the war against Indonesia. Maybe write an event for HOL to immediately peace out of the DEI-INO war?

Also SOV tech level and OOB/production line need to be aligned;the SOV starting divisions are mostly 1948 model, but they only have 1942 tech. And everything currently in production is also above their tech level, they even produce nuclear subs which for 1945 is obviously wrong :)

Can you add a event for soviet support in the Korean war?

Make the event:

Send airplanes (DPRK will receive 2 airplanes) 90%

Send troops (DPRK will receive 2 motorized) 5%

Send airplanes and troops ( 2 airplanes and 2 mot.) 5

Do nothing 0%

Oooh, somehow I thought that in DH masters no longer automatically (or almost automatically) come to help to their puppets. Yeah, separate peace seems the only way to do this right (although I had some quirks with separate peace in surrender events so we'll see). Indonesia has bad luck in my mod lately :)

About Soviet tech level and production it should be similar as another nations: rather bland, because it's automatically set the same for every division but maybe there's some error. Also I stitched together my work and FCZP's input so maybe there's some inconsistency there.

As for events for Korean War, currently I think USSR can react only to American assistance but not send help on their own. In fact, as long as USA doesn't step in there's little point in supporting already powerful DPRK. But possibly if United Nations send coalition forces there should be a way for belligerent USSR join the war and risk global conflict.

EDIT: I think sending such little assistance (some airplane div and a single land div) is already covered by Soviets sending "advisors", even in case of UN assisting. I'll take a look how to rebalance it though.

So, I decided to check out this mod and thought, what better to start out with than Yugoslavia?
I got Albania as a puppet, hoping to annex it, and then did the split with Stalin, which I thought was the right thing to do. However, flash forward to 1954, and no annexation event! Well, I got the one for Albania...but the Soviets didn't let me annex it? I had already split with Stalin, so why do the Soviets have any say in what I do with my puppets?
Anyways I restarted, didn't split, and got the decision to annex Bulgaria, which I accepted, the Soviets accepted, and the Bulgarians accepted. However, no annexation occurred and I was a bit annoyed at that point.
In addition, Nationalist China never has a chance of winning and Nationalist Korea always wins. The USA also nuked Kurdistan which I found a bit odd.

In addition to what I said before, saying no to the 3 x yes referendum doesn't do anything but increase dissent. It would be nice to have a chain that leads to more democracy maybe and a reaction from the USSR, such as cracking down or letting Poland choose its path.

In my latest game the Korean War went hot and the USSR declared war on the USA...it was very odd.

I love that mod.
Hovewer there is a thing that bugs me. And it is the surrender events.
Playing on very easy level, it is relatively easy to obtain war results that are really ahystoric.
Last time I was playing as Poland from 33, I have managed to build up my industrial potential, set up an realistic defense line, build as many militia units as it was possible and stay with hope for allies action.
I have managed to survive the first german attack - they were not attacking on whole line, that allowed me to focus on most of burning points. Then it was a time to strike back. Allies did not moved for a milimetr, and they refused to give me the military control. Regardless that, I was able to take out the Slovenia, east Prussia, and then I have massed enough troops in a few points that I was able to conquest the whole Germany.
I get the Germany annexed and realesed the Czechoslovakia. They were realesed together with Tesin province. And they did not wanted to give it back.
Then I get the event out of war, and a moments later divide the ocupied teritories event, where I have ceased the whole teritory of Germany (from my control) to UK. And they did not wanted to give me back Gdansk.
I believe that the surrender events should take into account the actual war achieve.
When reloading the save I checked, but I was unable to release other contries then Nazi Germany and Nazi Austria.
And I waited to see what would happen with british-occupied territories - in some cases they have give me a few German provinces - but without Gdansk, and just went with German occupation.

What is the last flashpoint for WW3? I have in 1966 with Commie China and there is no signal of war, should I just start it myself?

Also well I don't know if this is a known problem but when the Indonesia revolution triggered the Netherlands was allied with the US and they nuked Indonesia to hell.

1962 Cuban Missile Crisis, and most events have 1963 deathdate, so feel free to push that DoW button ;)

Yeah, it's a recurring problem solved and reappearing once again in the last version. Thankfully, it's very clear what's wrong so I'll solve this for the next release.

As for WW3, I'll be balancing it during several next releases so you may post any feedback, adding to already reported suggestions.

I believe that the surrender events should take into account the actual war achieve.
When reloading the save I checked, but I was unable to release other contries then Nazi Germany and Nazi Austria.
And I waited to see what would happen with british-occupied territories - in some cases they have give me a few German provinces - but without Gdansk, and just went with German occupation.

no offence but of course it's easy to achieve alt history results on very easy... It's VERY easy.
NWO2 has no alt history at the moment (unless i missed a few releases) so if you win ww2 with Poland then the mod will most likely not work for the most part because your supposed to be a liberated communist Poland not a free democratic Poland. If you want to see all the potential the mod has it would be best to play as the USSR, UK or USA because they won IRL and so winning with them in the mod will allow all the other events to happen....
