Anyone know why after installing the casualty tracker fix my game won't start at all now? Can't even get to the main menu. No error messages or anything, just crashes to desktop.

Do anyone know whats with the combat now? as Russia i take like ten times highes losses in all battles even against 1 kazak division? very strange indeed is it something wrong with Russias GDE maybe.

a -95 attacking penalty, merde, I thought I was losing too much men for it to be right

and a -90 defence penalty for rain? Does anybody else see this?
 
I had a hell of a time taking on Turkestan as Russia the other day. I thought I could just waltz over them, but it turned out I seriously needed to reevaluate my strategy.

It's good. I liked it. Attacking from one front into desert using unsupported infantry should be difficult no matter who you're facing.

Although I suspect it's something that the new doctrine system is meant to rectify. Which kinda sucks, given that KR is still on the old system.

On a related note, this was my first time as a Full Free market Entente Russia and all i can say is MOTHER OF GOD!
 
I know it seems silly and I have had a look through the thread for an answer (most likely missed the answer though!)

When I have added the 1.03 rc 2 patch on and then used the hotfix to Kasierreich 1.3 folder (moved the files separately not to overwrite the whole folder) on start up it says it can't read the brigade/division files and crashes.

Any help would be awesome! Thanks

I had the same problem. I am wondering if this is intentional. If it is, land wars just got a lot more difficult.

nope, the original DH doesn't have any penalty with clear wheather, I think a mistake was made somewhere, bu I can't seem to find any "clear" wheather conditions in the modifiers text
 
There are "one" stupid mistake in modifers file - zero penalty for Night_defense for ships. Someone probably confused it with Defense but night "defense" in modifers are _Attack_ for defendind side (nigh condition has no effect on defending for all divisions at all).

And so defending CAG at night becomes the Angel Of Fatuous And Ridiculous Death.
Fully Amen for every ongoing game, lol.)

I've had this problem for Russia, Socialist Italy and Austria with the 1.03 hotfix and the casualty stats update
 
I replaced to combat modifier file in DB/units with a darkest hour full one and it solved the crazy losses when attacking, but now its instead to east to attack and the defender takes huge amount of losses like 5 times more than the attacker.

Anyone knows how to solve this?

ground and air units has theirs "night_defense" modifers (and so their attak at night become much less then defense, and they cannot do much damage at night)
naval units defenders (with zero night_defense) attack as it would be day and easly sink any TF that try to attack them (and so become subject of night_attack modifer, -80 for carriers).

(i don't know what is origin of this bug: still beta patch for DH, or not perfect mod compatibility with this patch)

But what about the 95 % combat penalty in clear weather you cant fix that in misc?.

In clear install of Kaiserreich this string in modifers looks like:

so NO 95% penalty, you probably just make smth wrong.
