Keep believing in that! A second war with demoralised and weakened France, along with half of their allies will be another "great victory"!!!! Then, when the peace talks will start, the German Empire will be greedy once more! And what do we get in return??? Just some small colonies, like the last time!!!! And when this will continue, Germany will rule Europe and the rest will be ruled by the caos of Comunism and Anarchy. From then on, nobody will be free, not even Britain, and we won't have any friends to help us!!!!!!

This might actually be the perfect government. Maybe the two can moderate each other.
I would much rather have German hegemony over Europe than French. We ALL saw what happened the last time the French had dominance over Europe.
((And we all know what German dominance over Europe might entail. I think future and past for the game cannot be seen subjectively by ourselves seeing it from our current time.))

Perfect? This coalition is horrible. One half is composed of a bunch of racist, warmongering thugs who wish to remove representation for a third of the populace, while the other half is composed of the bourgeoisie centralists who don't care for the downtrodden of society, and who led us into a war which replaced one superpower with another on the mainland.
If the Republic survives the next five years without significant turmoil, we are blessed indeed.

It's better to have no one rule, and instead keep them bickering with each other. Now Germany is dominant, and while they may be friendly now, how long shall it be until they have overseas ambitions? How long till they come to fight with us over colonial issues? Their land forces are superior to ours; what is to stop them from building a navy to compete with us?
Even if we did have the same principles (which we do not), at this point in time the French hate us just as much as we hate them, if not more. Even if we were to go on this insane mission to befriend France, they would turn their noses at us and send our diplomats back home before they even arrived in Paris. You, sir, are the one who has the illusions. Of course, the fact that you seem to be speaking with a French accent tells me all that needs to be told about your insanity. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if you were a spy!

Are you asking if I think French domination or German domination over Europe is better?
I think the current balance is best.
Right now the Germans have about 1,000 industrial score to France's 2,200 (Britain has 3,400). So France is still economically more powerful.
Germany has no SoI allies, it has an alliance with Spain and our tentative support. France has the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Switzerland, the Papal States, Portugal, Piedmont, Greece and a bunch of overseas ones (mostly in India). France also has alliances with Russia and Austria. So France is still diplomatically more powerful.
French military score is higher than Germany's. However, I'm not sure if mil score actually means much as Prussia repeatedly punched massively above its wieght according to mil score in all those victorius wars. But we can say that the two are about even militarily.
So the French are still the more powerful of the two by a decent amount. However, they no longer have hopes of ruling the entire continent as the Gerries are able to stand up to them rather well. I'd imagine Germany might see some industrial growth and gain a bit of diplomatic influence over the coming years - that could very well change the balance.
As for which is better to be the dominant force. To Britain it hardly matters. All Britain wants is for neither to be dominant and both to hate eachother.
EDIT: And other people's sentiment about French hating and German loving is actually quite historical. For awile the Brits and Germans in OTL had a bit of a love in as they viewed eachother as fellow members of the superior Germanic/Saxon race and both hated them damn Frenchies and their Russian buddies. Things only changed when Germany started getting too big for her boots and started to look like she might dominate Europe. Even after 30 years of living in hatred of Germany and without Alsace-Lorraine French popular opinion was very uneasy about the whole Entente thing - likewise British public opinion. So it is quite realistic for there to be an inate preference for Germany.
Dominant? Just wait a bit and you'll find France finding the way to defy old Fritz again (allying with some of the many enemies Germany has made). And the old Game shall start again.

If Germany has a sensitive Kaiser able to move towards democracy -an alternative and more durable version of Friederich III-, Britain may have something to do then in Europe.
