Anyway if anyone has good tips for playing England in 1399, or another country in another time, you are welcome to share them with me. Some specific info for playing a certain country might be really helpfull to get to know the mechanics of the game. I've been reading a lot of info online. And I downloaded the HttT manual. But I haven't completely read that one because I wanted to start playing.
Do you get (extort?) production money out of occupied provinces?
Is there a thread somewhere that explains how gold provinces work?
Thanks to everyone popping out answers in this thread!
Ekrenor:
The Revolution/Counterrevolution system of events is the only way to get a Revolutionary Republic
They are explained here: http://www.paradoxian.org/eu3wiki/Revolutionary_countries
It's quite complicated and I've never tried it, so I can't vouch for the accuracy of the article.
Hmm is there any bonus if someone from your dynasty(not your king) gets to some other country throne
"Enforce religious unity as Ming" What is that?
What can be done to reduce Army maintenance? Is there a National Idea that helps? Does Infantry Cost all affect Maintenance cost?
In some screenshots for DW, I see that armies are alphabetically ordered in the outliner overlay. Is this just by coincidence, or is this A Thing That DW Does?
Well, your link isn't working, so I can't really tell...
Edit: But no, DW doesn't automatically put all your armies in alphabetical order in the outliner. It's just a coincidence.
Argh! This has to be a highly-requested feature, right? It's hard to keep track of military stacks in a big war.
As Portugal (EU3 Complete) I have a huge fleet and large army - but the army is costing me like three times the Maintenance of the fleet even though I'm way under the maintenance limit. I have the Naval slider all they way to the right. What can be done to reduce Army maintenance? Is there a National Idea that helps? Does Infantry Cost all affect Maintenance cost?
