I like my war-making the same way I like my Benny Hill, running back and forth to the tune of Yackety-Sax.
Hmm... you just gave me an idea.

And where is the Norwego-Italian invasion fleet that dumps 500,000 men onto the beaches in Japan and ends the war with a single surgical strike??
Easy lad, Rome wasn't conquered in a day. Italy still has to continue routing the Japanese airforce wherever it is encountered. That being said, expect a glorious account of Italian battlefield action after next session.

Oceania/Allies still is favourite in this war, but they will have to prove it in combat, or fall... as the only terms we have received is annexation of Rusiia and puppet Japan lol.
Well, you may have noticed that the Italian aircrafts no longer crash and burn by default when encountering their Japanese counterparts :D

Alrighty I posed it in the fanart thread.

So it turns out we need a sub for France this week. Any volunteers? von Rundstedt? :)

well as I kinda promised to Varyar to sub him again (if needed) next week, and the need is eventually there not...I can be aviable to kick some Blaynis's bottocks with the migthy france as well:D
and in the worse outcome I could bribe even Jodokus to return for subbing, but Im not guranteeing it.

Well, making a youtube video of the frontline with Yakety-Sax over it has the potential of becoming the new Untergang meme here.
Now you have given me two ideas. So much to do, so little time!

I could probably draw a comic of this.

My idea was to use your comic as a basic for a cartoon. Shouldn't be too hard, all that's required is a tool to GIF-ify your characters and then it's done.

The world has geared up for war, let them have one! March 4th, 1949 Oceania/Allies declares war on Japan and its allies.
It turned out that our enemies are four of the Worlds leading superpowers + recently buffed Germany against Japan and its allies, Russia, fresh out of devastating war against Japan, recently released Shaanxi and ever elusive Quebec, not great odds for sure. Fortunately Malaysia honouring our agreement WPs right after.
To add icing to the cake enemy had an element of surprise due to outplaying us in the diplomatic front, but what should have been one sided onslought turned into close war of maneuvering.

Japanese troops heads into Mediterranean to help badly outnumbered Quebec/Russia against onslought of numerous Allies troops.

64455328.jpg

At the same time Japanese armoured corps gathered for counter attack in the rear of advancing French-German Southern army.

13347403.jpg

At the same time rocket strikes were commenced against Norways airfields and battle for air superiority in the Aleuts will begin. After beating not so numerous yet modern and well organized Norways fighters Japanese fighters engaged modern and numerous Italian fighters, a battle that ended in bloody draw, which is probably in favour to Oceania given their resource base.
One thing is clear, Italy has focused on enlarging their fighters number in the peacetime, and Japan has met worthy rival.

At the same time Japan had breached thinly spread flanks of Southern Allies army and was racing to the Black sea.

25278435.jpg

Japanese escort fighters engaging Italian fighters and faring well due to outnumbering them 2:1. Nevertheless further operations in the area is halted due to lack of naval targets.

Blayne too notices vulnerability of the Allied advance formations, Cherkassy has fallen, Krivoy Rog and Balta soon to follow.

56840679.jpg

Balta is captured enemy forces in Mogilev Podolski routed to enlarge the corridor.

47130853.jpg

Michael Caine trying to break out of trap to no avail, not so powerful without Batman, are we?

78504331.jpg

Krivoy Rog holds and as you can see there are more than 40 divisions in there. Quebec requests help in the Spain, ask and you shall receive.

72545203.jpg

The rest of front is fairly stable bar Smolensk which is captured by Allied forces trying to push forward to one and only capital of Rodina Rossija! In the North Jūnger is doing excellent job at pushing back Norwegian forces, so good that we wont encounter them anywhere else in the Europe. And making jokes about that =]

58429368.jpg

Odessa falls and ~45 French-German divisions are pocketed with no chance of rescue, they are supplied still though from Romanian black sea coast.

90764847.jpg

Yes I can! Smolensk is recaptured and gates to Moscow secured.

38661835.jpg

Italian capitals factories are bombed bringing them shortly 100 IC down, but as I was failing to multitask between three fronts in Europe, one in he Pacific and constant relocation of my troops by TPs this remained as one time gimmick.

19839401.jpg

First attack to Zaporozhye, Allies fight well and holds, weather helps them a lot.

25476141.jpg

French HQ tries to recapture skies so they can use their much feared airborne troops but although Japanese fighters prevails utmost caution at airfield garrisoning is still kept.
Note that the very same fighter corps were shortly after this battle rebased to the North and beaten by well rested and organized Italian fighters operating from their own airbaise for much rejoicing to the Italian propaganda. This defeat further illustrates that skies is once more contested and Japanese airforce spread from Spain over Europe, Asia till Pacific islands will have to regroup and concentrate on the most pressing matters.

Germans launch a well timed attack shortly after frost is gone with 2:1 odds to attempt a rescue of their brothers.

Meanwhile Japanese Mechs embarks in Tirana to bolster offensive power of Balkan front.

82055540.jpg

This is Kursk everywhere! German infantry Korps fares badly against well entrenched hard Japanese divisons and are repelled without doing any significant damage.

In a bold move Japanese divisions embarks at Murcia right in front of advancing French troops in an organized maner.

The unsuspecting French general leads his forces in prepared traps and minefields and after short but intensive firefight is outmached and outgunned. He tries to retreat to better defensive positions across the river.

Japanese however has no intention of letting them entrench and organize themselves. Attack is merciless and successful.

77227120.jpg

Japanese/Quebecs/Shaanxi forces pushes forward relentlessly aided by mightly Imperial Navy, too bad shore bombardment is capped ;/

40706645.jpg

The French are routed again but Foelsgaard does a good job retreating them inland as there Imperial Navy is conducting bold landing behind the lines. French Naval bombers exploits lack of Japanese airforce in the area to take revenge of destruction of French fleet (well at least a part) and sinks a few CLs and TPs, no divisions are lost though.

59429275.jpg

Japanese mobile corps trying to cut off France from Black sea is assaulted by large Franko-German forces, the terrain is too open to hold and I am too cautious to commit larger force. from encirclement ring.

81530200.jpg

Another attack against Zaporozhye is launched and this time it is successful.

41441905.jpg

Russia rejoices.
French trying to turn the tide attacks Tarragona gambling that Japanese forces must be exhausted from long march and while that is true they fail to take into account fresh divisions transported by sea.

55754000.jpg

And once more a failed attack leads to rout.

12492917.jpg

Japanese fighters emerges from their underground hiding places catching them one by one. Still later another bloody fight ensues and while theoretically Japanese fighters emerges victorious they suffer heavy casualties and are ordered to wait to fight another day as there is no point in wasting our resources trying to hold air superiority as there are no Italian Tactical or Strategic bombers present on the battlefield. Norwegian assault with three marine divisions fails horribly against much greater and entrenched island garrison.
Over land

And sea

Jūnger continues to produce jokes about Norwegians fighting in the Winter in the Finland. but meanwhile Imperial troops threatens to divide pocket.

The moment is seized and encircled troops are being routed. Dunbass will belong to Russia once more!

Michael Cane is as persistent as he is desperate as he is outnumbered! For we are many!

Frech-Germans retreats in an organised manner but cant hold superior and better supplied numbers. (They are still in supply though)

France tries to stop Eastasias push but to no avail.

55469162.jpg

I can use a little hailing indeed, Imperial navy respond to Russian pleads for naval support cutting off French advance in Novorossisk and commences convoy extermination in a close cooperation with airforce.

Results are spectacular as I am forced to turn off notification being spammed by several of these in a day.

There is overview of three European fronts where Japanese troops are taking part, in the north is fourth which is Shaanxi exclusive and extra bloody.

47442758.jpg

Mountain fortress Huesca thought impregnable by everyone is fought over in the largest battle of the war, and it falls!
Disturbed by apparent inability to stop Eastasias advance Italy commits around 3 divisions to the front in an attempt to stabilise it. Session ends as they arrive.

64501922.jpg

Second Norwegin attempt to capture fortress Yunask island ends before it starts as arrival of large Japanese submarine fleet chases Norwegian transport away.

85354145.jpg

Thus ends the part one of this war which has encompassed the whole world bar Malaysia. This was Japanese perspective hope you liked it.
I am a bit appalled by peanuts wishing death and destruction to Japan though :( Are you not entertained? Is Japan not worthy of sympathy fighting defensive war against superior opposition without its greatest ally.

Still this this very much fun!
