Same here, these last 3 weeks have been horrible, I have my final exam tomorrow, the defense of my thesis, oh boy...

On the plus side, once it's over, I can start preparing my AAR

Weiss his plan in Indochina succeeded, encircling the entire Japanese Northern defence army, counting well into 95 divisions. Completely cut off from supply and with no way out, the Northern Indochina Army's fate was finally sealed.

In Lissabon, the 4th Fleet attempted another raid but were surprised by a German Warfleet, proving to be thougher than the Americans had suspected.

Oh, ye of little faith

After losing a carrier in the attack on Lissabon, the 4th Fleet attempted to break away from Iberia, chased relentlessly by the Kriegsmarine and British Bombers

the Kriegsmarine continued to hunt the US fleet across the Atlantic, sinking the Bunker Hill. The 4th fleet managed to get away, but not before losing 3 carriers. It was now clear to the USN Head Command that the Kriegsmarine was far from a pushover, as Donitz ordered more agressive raids into the pacific.

To open up the seas around Taiwan, The British Empire sent out the Mediterranean Command to a position South of Okinawa, where it encountered the Combined Fleet A.

Even more Japanese carriers were sent to the bottom of the sea. The IJN was now on full retreat, as British intelligence estimated that only 5 Japanese carriers remained. All Combined Fleets had bitten the dust, as only the Combined Fleet C now remained. The hunt began to eliminate the IJN Taiho, Japan's leading class carrier, and establish British naval superiority in the Pacific.

Well, no need to keep it under wraps really: Me and Laurence are planning on publicy releasing a Doomsday savegame after Japan is defeated. The save starts about a month after the formation of our new Asia map (+- 4 months after installation of the J.O.C, or Japan Occupation Zone, formerly known as the Japanese Empire ). England and Germany will have been reset to nationalsocialist (we needed to make the game compatible with standard doomsday), and the US will have only 1200 available IC tho.

Of course, it will be strongly advised to play as one of the Allied States and put an end to the perfidious dictators of Europe and their mad expansion drift . US will be in a great starting position for this: I downsized the army to about 400 div, lots of naval bombers to take on the RN and most importantly a gargantuan navy to invade Europe with. Problem is that the defeat of Japan will probably fall somewhere next month, when I am away so I'll have to discuss the uploading and all that with Laurence.

With the few bonuses we gave the US in this save that isn't really hard

I tested the save as the US, I rallied all the remaining nations and only 4 years later the axis consisted of 0 members, think about what the US can do with it's current IC bonuses

Sorry, but Firestorm and Cool are really BAD. That's the first time I see a human been defeated by the AI. Sometimes I saw countries like Romania or Commie China becoming great powers.

Maybe, maybe not. I'm not in the best position to judge. Considering their circumstances (DAIM Hard/Aggressive + No savegame edits + no gamey tactics), we can't be really sure. Somebody like Remble, Kanitatlan, or blue emu could be better judges of their performance, though.

DAIM AI is so easy. I fought against harder AI (Mod34 and others). And I don't know how to edit the save. Some weeks before, I posted a link to that AAR in the spanish community. All people say that Firestorm and Cool were really bad.
