The Empire is going Nuclear.
What shall be nuked first?
hmm would have thought chalk river in ontario would have been the place to set this up. lots of power available and handy to the uranium supply too.

And far too convenient, only a wimp would chose there. The Empire has deliberately chosen a remote, undeveloped and peversely difficult place just to be more manly.Chalk River is too close to the American border.
I am not really a fan of post-sealion occupied UK fiction, mainly because Sealion itself was so utterly ridiculous. Whenever someone says that after the defeat of the RAF Britain would have fallen, I answer with two words: Royal Navy.
they gamed sealion out at sandhurst after the war with the germans who would have been running it. turned out to have been a worse disaster for the germans than even the most pessemistic had predicted.
personally never figured why there was such a worry. you had 2 canadian divisions in place by then and given what we did to the german paras at ortona i cannot see an open field fight going even slightly better for them.
cannot say for this time line but in otl the dominion of canada provided vast amounts of equipment and supplies free of charge to the british and other allies. the dollar value was staggering and i believe there was a fair bit of aid post war while the british were getting back to something like normal.
Probably, but considering that he has to contend with exiled leaders from four occupied countries and another four who are Commonwealth Members and contributing troops. The Politics must be godawful.

Canada has at the very least 1.5 to 1.7 times the normal population thanks to a massive influx of American loyalist refugees throughout the 1930s which allows for larger industry, larger agrigculture which does indeed produce something of a surplus that is sold at very generous and definitely below world-market prices to Britain.

At least. From what I've learned since then the loss of the Rhine river barges in the invasion fleet would have crippled the German war effort.
Very generous prices = technology and political influence on things. Hell, the Canadians have a full Field Army in Yugoslavia...
doubt we canucks would cause him any grief. long as the british provide us a steady supply of germans and russians to chew up we're pretty much happy campers. the odd "thanks guys" wouldn't hurt though.

As for Canada and rations: The U-Boats are on their last legs. Very early in the AAR it was established that the Depression was less bad for the Commonwealth, and thus the Navy was not as underfunded and increased the number of escorts which translates (together with the US no longer being a potential convoyer)into fewer convoys, into increased U-Boat losses, a larger RN which translates into the KM and the Red Navy falling from grace after failing to deliver and being ripped to tiny bits by the Imperialist Britishers. As a result rationing isn't as severe in the UK as it was IOTL, and will be stopped much, much earlier too.
I couldn't agree more.
Give that man a medal!
Does "Slap Shot" count as "seeing ice hockey"?
I prefer rugby. More civilized.

Keep it up fellas... enjoy your sports but don't knock ours... Unless you want me to start in with Socce.. No... For the sake of courtesy I won't use that slanderous term.
True. But being able to buld the Sailsbury Highlanders, soon to be also known as "Royal Highland Regiment of Rhodesia" would be awesome indeed. In any case:
Up next: Gurkha Mountaineers vs Waffen SS!

Good chapter and nice tie up. I think such prolonged mistrust of Ford Motors would be counter-productive as you can't really blame a company a couple of decades down the line for what a former CE did and it's more likely to mean less competition and the employees of the company having a reason for mistrusting Britain in turn.
Steve
Ehran, why the heck are you answering questions that are lost in the midst of times? The rugby joke one is older than Rome! Keep reading, but to answer, concentrate in the present situation of the AAR, man! It's more than enough to keep us busy! :d
