I am trying to play Victoria on my laptop, but since the laptop is lacking the numpad i seem not to be able to change the game speed. So i wonder, if there is any possibility to change the key bindings in the game so i could change the speed without the numpad?

You have the plus and minus signs beside the backspace key near the top right of the keyboard. On an anglophone keyboard the minus key works as per normal, though plus requires shift to be held down simultaneously.

Edit: If your avatar is an indication of your location (ie. German Keyboard layout): Minus is right beside the right shift button, and again requires no extra keys. Plus is at the top right beside enter, and requires no extra keys.

Well, with these + and - keys you mentioned i can zoom in and zoom out. But they do not work in combination with ctrl for the game speed increse or decrease.

So, I am really in desperate need for a key remapper.

Do you have an additional numpad on your keyboard? Usually laptops have some way to use one - check the right side of your keyboard, on mine the rightmost keys have a numpad on them that can be accessed by pressing a blue "Fn" key, or by activating num lock.

Hey, cool, thanks for the hint! After i read this I searched the keyboard several times and only then i noticed small numpad symbols on some of the keys. Wow! Now i can play the best computer game i have on my laptop.
Thanks for the help! Going to read the manual next time i guess ;)
