I`m trying to load The UK Region Pack.
The download just sudently stops and i cant even go to the Modmanager before it finished.

I tried reinstalling the game and delete the files in appdata.

Nothing helps and im unable to play for a week now.

Someone a similar problem or a fix?

Yes, whenever I try to download a mod in the game, I get an error saying "Sorry Paradox Mods services failed to complete the request. An unspecified internal error occurred". I've subscribed from the paradox mods website, and when i restart the game, it spends 20 minutes checking for updates, and in the end it says it wasn't able to sync and i can either retry (then the same message appears) or exit. I had of lot of mods downloaded a while ago and everything worked ok (except from some crashes from time to time), but then this problem started. I unsubsriced from everything, deleted the game and did as adviced in the megathread. The problem consists and I cant even download the french, german or UK pack. Also even when I don't have any mods installed the game uses ca 5-10 minutes trying to sync mods, makes me feel like im living in 2003 and honestly having to wait makes me not wanting to play.

Make sure you have enough space in your local C drives. All mods ,Region packs must be in local drive to work.
Have At least 50 GB of free storage .

If you have no storage issue, and you can't subscribe via in-game or browser, another way is to
Login to pdx account via browser in PDXmod... If you click username top left, My subscription ,it shows your playsets(future ref)
Go look for those region packs , and in each mod there's a download button.
Go to Appdata/locallow/colossal order/cities skylinesII , create a new folder call " ~StreamingData" unzip file downloaded ..now there should be folder with xxxxxxlots of xxxx.. you can rename it to the mods name if you chose.

With other mods, not region packs..you download unzip ,place the folder in /.cache/mods/mod_subscribed.

Please Note by doing this method, All mods/packs won't auto update , so you will need to remove/replace new update if there's any..

Hopefully it works for you guys.

Thank you I tried all your suggestions. I have loads of space, and tried downloading both from in-game mods platform and browser.
Then I tried making a seperate folder, but still no.
Maybe I did something wrong, but I made the folder and unzipped the regionpack files in there.

I tried and nothing works.
When im downloading the mods directly, the downloads are failing as well. So i think its something to do with the downloads interrupting and not picking up again.
Bit i have a realy stable and good connection, no other Downloads are failing. No idea whats up with that.

Are you using a VPN?
I asked ChatGPT for help and finally got it to work by downloading and unzipping manually. It took me ca 10 minutes to download all 4 region packs. When I tried through the modslibrary ingame, I only got the french pack to work after 10+ times of trying and it took 4 f*cking hours.
Ask ChatGPT and describe what happens while you try, that worked for me
