It would be really helpful if at the end of a mercenary contract they would ask to prolongate it (as they do in CK3, or as other enclaves do it)
I really love playing with them but sometimes there is none to hire, just so I can make "corporate peacekeeping" work it would fell better if we could just keep them going as long as credits go.
At the moment i am hesitant to push that far Defense Privatization, because of this, as all companies are always hired, and don't want to make them brake their contact so i am not agains the "law".
Also strange that they take up naval capacity, i don't know how it works out when you get -80% form corporate peacekeeping, and they "only" get a -25% naval capacity reduction when hired (first i tougth they will take exactly 0 capacity, as they are mercs ...)
EDIT: it is even worst, once i told "my mercs" to "come back" from previous contract, i don't even have the options to hire them anymore.
