Summary
Map Rendering Contains Major Error. On the Eastern Atlantic Seaboard of US , in particular off the Shores of New Jersey there are buildings in the Atlantic Oceans and as game progresses new ones are being constructed in the Atlantic Ocean. Very Weird Biug.Description
This is an ongoing problem I have noticed , ever since Victoria 3 was patched from version 1.92 to its current 1.98 version. Just to set this in context, I made sure that for each of these following versions I would delete the Paradox Interactive game folder ( in C: Documents on my hard drive), to ensure the game re-renders / re-builds the game graphics properly. To no avail.. Each time the game is launched and I make my country selection and get into the game I notice a very weird and annoying graphical /rendering error. The map looks properly rendered, except for the area around the Eastern Atlantic Seaboard of US, in particular New Jersey. For some unknown reason, the game depicts buildings off shore from New Jersey int the Atlantic Ocean being constructed. As the game progresses from 1836 this continues to happen. To troubleshoot this , I have restarted the game multiple times and changed the GFX renderer from Direct X 11 to Vulcan, again to no avail. I have never with previous versions of the game ( i.e. 1.62, 1,87 etc) had such a problem as I am also using the same laptop with same strong CPU ( Intel 714560HX ) / GPU ( RTX 4060 with 8GB VRAM). Please advise how to resolve this graphical glitchSteps to reproduce
1. Changed the GFX Renderer from Direct X11 to Vulcan, Didn't work, problem continues2. Restarted game multiple times. Didn't work, problem continues
3. Deleted few times the Victoria 3 game folder in the C Drive , hoping game can rebuild the game graphics correctly. Didn't work, problem continues
