I deleted all of my saves twice, and still I had to search on the Internet to understand why.
I have no words for such a design choice, but I suggest you make it like it has always been in any other game.
Meaning that it should delete one save.
If you want to add an option to mass delete, then it must have a confirmation like "ARE YOU SURE THAT YOU WANT TO DELETE ALL OF YOUR SAVES ?" with the answer defaulting to "No".

OK, I saw what happened.
I clicked "Load game" to delete the latest saves and reload from a while back.
At that point, the only "delete" button available was "Delete session" so before clicking it I selected the latest save and then I clicked on it.

I did not notice that after I selected the latest save another button appeared.
It was actually already there but greyed out, so I did not look at it.
That "Delete session" should, as a bare minimum, labeled "DELETE ALL THE SAVES".
Probably better to not make it immediately clickable at all.
Putting it like this, as the only clearly visible button at first, is a trap.
Besides, "Session" is the same as "Save" to me.

Thanks for the clarification; I will be more watchful myself.
