Closing one floating window (such as character search) when I open another is a bad idea

In CK2, character search has its own window, which does not close when you open another window. This way, when you scroll through the characters to propose, bribe, or whatever, the window remains available.

In CK3, there are three main types of windows: the left window, the right one, and a floating one. When you do character search, the results appear as a floating window. But if you want to do anything with characters on the list involving creating a new floating window (such as marriage proposals), this closes the character search floating window. If you want to get it back, you have to bring up character search and reload the list of characters again from the beginning. Which closes the marriage proposal window.

This feels very cumbersome. Wouldn't it be nicer to allow multiple floating windows? There is no good reason to close down one floating window just because another appears on top of it.

Also, some search criteria save slots would be nice.

Shouldn't really require pressing several times every time I load a game and want to arrange a marraige.

I'd love the ability to open more than one character info screen period. Maybe max three or four by shift-clicking a character.

Brought back from the dead to add an extra vote. That would be a major improvement to quality-of-life.

Yeah totally agree, this needs to be in "suggestions" though.

would make recruiting family as witches much less of a hassle
