Clan girl inheritance

So apparently girls can inherit now in clan governments. The default gender rule is the same as Christian feudals. Bug? If not, why the change?

Are you Islamic with a male dominated faith? Those are the only ones that have ever defaulted to male only succession.

I was playing as the suggested bookmarked count that is all the way in transoxiana. My current character didn’t have any kids. I decided to do the hajj. While traveling, my wife gave birth to a daughter, who the game treated as my heir. On the succession screen, it was showing the succession as male preference instead of male only. This is in 1.11.0.

I played with him too and it's male only in 1.11.0.1. Could the hotfix have fixed it without being mentioned in the patch notes? Or are you using mods?
