What is your game version?

What expansions do you have installed?

What mods are you using?
have lots installed but they are disabled in this scenario

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
i was just trying to load on like normal when the save was nowhere to be found. ive loaded out many times after saving and could get back in, though i would crash every so often. this happened to another save of mine a few days ago after trying to revisit it. i can still see the save above the resume button on the launcher but when i try to load it up it will not even take me to the loading screen

Can you replicate the issue? If yes, please explain how you did it.

Are you using Steam cloud for your save files? Might be an issue there.. also. Make sure if you save it there that you still have enough space.

i did not have it enabled there

...\AppData\Local\Colossal Order\Cities Skylines\saves\
(To see the AppData folder you'll need to enable View Hidden Items in File Explorer)

my bad lmao. its just a folder with two windows media player files i cant open and its the only thing in my save games folder

That should not be there. Are you 100% sure you are in ...\AppData\Local\Colossal Order\Cities Skylines\saves\ ?

Neither Steam nor the game deliberately deletes save game files. Could you perhaps be using a different Windows user on this machine now? If so the files will be in the previous user's ...\AppData\Local\Colossal Order\Cities Skylines\saves\ folder.

Assuming these were certainly local saves (you haven't explicitly confirmed that), someone or something has deleted or moved them, OR you are looking in the wrong place.

Sounds like you're looking in the wrong spot. Try a different approach: Use Windows Explorer to search your C:\ drive for ".crp" files. That will bring up any and all saves on that drive, wherever they're lurking.
