Does rolling back to a previous version erase your career profile?

I'm thinking of going for the Australia-Hungary achievement, I've read you should roll back the game so hungary doesn't guard their victory points. And turn off death or dishonor and together for victory.
I know how to, but does rolling the version back erase all your progress such as ribbons and medals?

Unless someone has a good strategy for the current version?
