I'm going to try it. I actually never played TRP since Armageddon version.
Are there any ahistorical events or post ww2 chain events?
We have events for a "cold war scenario" but there are no more event systems or event chains after 1945. This is still missing content.
I can't manage to finish the download :( It always stops without reason
Can somebody please upload it on another site?
We are preparing one-click-hoster-mirrors but it will need some more minutes for me to finish the upload.

Thanks for the release!
Please tell something about the reworked german elite units and the Austrian forces and czech equipment takeover into the german Wehrmacht
thanks for the answer

Just a brief question after skimming through the files. Why do Armored Cars brigades give more softness reduction than light/medium/heavy tank brigades (on that note, why do these give barely any reduction at all)? That really doesn't seem plausible at all.

Edit: Ah, to answer my own question... it seems I've overlooked that you put a # in front of the armored cars for armored divisions. Now it makes sense, I guess.

I'll have to ask my boss for some extra vacation it seems... *g*

Lord Rommel is far more into this topic than me (and maybe he'll add some information, too), but broadly speaking, our events now dissolve the Austrian Bundesheer and create the Wehrmacht units that were formed back in 1938. Concerning the czech equipment, you'll receive an event to equip several mechanized infantry units at a budget price.

Since armored and non-armored units offer a completely different base level for softness, we once decided to differentiate between brigades for each type. Those brigades for soft (non-armored) units provide a larger absolute reduction in softness than those for armored ones, but the relative reduction for each type should be comparable.

Concerning the download problems: Maybe you're just experiencing some heavy load. This very mirror has always been very reliable, so it's the only issue that i can think of right now. Nevertheless, we're preparing a OCH-mirror.

The download issues mentioned ...
The latest versions of TRP were hosted on a server in the US. This version is hosted on a very fast and stable server here in Europe.
So it is more or less expectable, that now european users have better performance than US ;-)

Like Studti said; We add the historical formations instate of the "fictional adaption of the Bundesheer".
The hole topic started with the reworked french OOB and the new mechanized division. Germany formed 4 mechanized division in 1938. We talked about a way to simulate this development and as result we have reworked the hole german army development. We have analysed the historical situation and transferred our results into the new german OOB.
When Germany annexed Austria the german army used the austrian personal to form new divisions. This divisions are part of the event. Same with the "Sudentendeutschen". When Germany annexed the Sudetenland they formed new division out of the local male population to enforce the german army strength. With the new system you will start your Poland campaign with the historical nucleus of the german armoured forces - the historical 6 Panzer-Divisionen and the 4 leichte (Panzer-)Divisionen. This will add more strength to the german army - especially against the new french army.
About the elite formations:
We have reworked the red army elite files. The red army can recruit ~ 70 guards divisions (Good luck when you try to pay und supply them all!). Germany need a kind of counterbalance. In old TRP version you had very difficult triggers to recruit a number of german elite divisions. All in all the chances to recruit all german elite division was close to zero. The new german elite file is more simplified. You dont have to fulfill special requirements for elite division. You will need ressources, manpower and money. With this system you can recruit all historical elite formations. And as a bonus we added the SA-Panzerkorps Feldherrnhalle to the elite divisions. Only trick is to survive until 1945 to recruit your army.

Hope this will answer a lot of your questions.

Feel free to ask more.

We are happy about constructive feedback and even about constructive content ideas ;)

Lord Rommel-3 questions
1-leichte (panzer) division will be in 1939 "normal" panzer division or something different?
2-6 panzer divisions in 1939? panzer division "Kempf" is the sixth?
3-4 mechanized division in 1938? Not motorized ones?
thank You very much for the answers
