Description
Text rendering broken in the Linux version

What is your game version?
227,923

Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
The text rendering in the Linux review build seems broken. I reported it before through your PR and support channels and I was told the Linux review build wasn't quite ready.

As the release is today, I've opted out of the review beta and it still seems to have the issue. I'm hoping when it releases, it will trigger a new download with a different release build.

Hopefully with my version number, you can tell if i'm still on an old build or not?

This unlisted video
will show you what I mean, you can see text flashing.

Can you replicate the issue?
Yes, every time.

Same here, openSUSE Tumbleweed, Nvidia graphics card with proprietary driver.

Seems especially about '1's and single 'a's

Apologies for that. We identified the problem, but it was too late to include a fix in the release version. It should be fixed with the first update.
Which will be when?

I was getting wound up watching all the Youtubers play the game whilst I couldn't, but that's going to be nothing compared to how frustrated an annoyed I am waiting for a fix.

Anybody with any ideas of a work around for this bug? I've been playing with various video settings, both in game and out and so far nothing has made any difference.

It renders the game unplayable for me, the changing text makes my eyes feel very uncomfortable.

EDIT: Wondering if there is a font file I can delete/rename and force a different/stable font to be used.

I'm experiencing the same problems

Adding another "me too", Ubuntu 17.10 not using nvidia drivers with a 940 mobile. Also noticed in the keybindings configuration page, several bound keys were displayed as "S" until you mouse over them to reveal what they are currently bound as. WASD was listed as WASS before mouseover. Good to see it is known, hopefully a hotfix comes out soon.

Another one, Lubuntu 16.10, nvidia GTX 660, i7. It is unplayable right now on Linux. Key binding show only S. Words in chatbox are all mixed up, number are unreadable.

Impossible to play, when will this first update avaible? Because right now... Nope.

I can confirm I was impacted by the glich and it's working fine for me now :)

As a linux only gamer, I want to use the chance to say I really love your support for the platform since day 1.
