Please explain your issue is in as much detail as possible.
After seeing I could buy mercenaries with paying less than the cost I should, I investigated the files and found severals errors.

Steps to reproduce the issue.
Launch the save and after dumping the maximum of the energy (to have less than requiered to buy the mercs). Then go get the 2nd merc fleet of the Hantak free warrior (on the right of the map). You will buy then whatever the energy you have even if you have less than 6500 EC.

There are two or three fleets like this, the problem is a missing @ in front of their respective cost variables if anyone’s interested.

yeah, I corrected that in my mod but it's disapointed to see these little mistakes still in the game (I hope there are not new)

a little update to say that the first error is corrected in 2.7.2 but not the second one ( Unhinged Screamer Flottilla is still "free" line 2525 on my notepad file marauder_events.txt)
