Or at least some of the event troops that characters start with in the 867 scenario. Yes, the event stacks are much smaller, but I'm playing Ya'qub Saffarid and I found out that his 900+ free troops recover their numbers over time. Basically he has a free, mixed troop type retinue.

Has anyone else found this to be the case for characters with starting event troops?
 
Harald Fairhair's event troops reinforce. I think that's working as intended. A small reinforcing set of troops for free doesn't break anything, it doesn't make the game absurdly easy, but it does help historically impressive characters be more impressive more regularly.
