Alexander Cochrane delivers a speech in London and takes questions form the audience...

"Mr. Cochrane, what do you think of the dissolution of the National Liberal Party?"

"What do I think of it? I think good riddance!

*The crowd cheers enthusiastically*

The National Liberal Party are mere pawns in the game of chess between simple, God-fearing Britain and the atheist Bohemian Maoists of Labour! They have served only to confuse good-willed Conservatives into splitting the vote between the Tories and themselves, thereby allowing for Labour to be elected. They posture themselves as moderates, but in truth do you know to which party Lord Scarsdale looked to during the hung parliament of 1949?

*An angry old woman in the crowd shouts "Labour!"*

Yes! The slithering serpent Scarsdale looked to Labour first. But upon being turned away, probably in order to make it look like they weren't in kahoots with the Marxists, they came running into the bed of Sir Gibbon! And what did Gibbon do? Did he tell them to take their tails and gallop on back to their Labour lords? No, he agreed to work with them! It was at that time that I lost any remaining shred of respect for Gibbon. He was now nothing more than a Liberal in tory clothes.

But back to the NLP. Now, Scarsdale will tell you that he fought the Lords reform. Well, I have news for you, the Lords reform was a sham. Labour dangles reform, they dangle the possibility of "more democracy." Nonsense! All they did was put on a show in order to fuel republicanism. To fuel rebellion! Don't believe me? Read the paper!

*Cochrane shows people the headline of a local newspaper. It reads "SEVERAL KILLED IN IRA BOMBING"*

The damned IRA atheists are killing countless British citizens in Ireland. Soon, and believe me, soon! Soon they will be on our own shores in England. And before you know it Bennett, the damned liar who calls himself a "Christian," but we have records of him practicing Judaism in East Anglia before the war! We know that he is secretly a Jewish-Atheist! My good friend Jonas Alexander had a copy of Bennett's birth certificate and his mother is Jewish and his father was a rabbi in Amsterdam! And he disappeared after publishing this in a newspaper. That smells fishy. Believe me it's fishy.

But Bennett, that Mazel tov God-hater Bennett, he will be shaking the hands of the IRA and telling people "The IRA are good Christian people. There is nothing wrong with them. People that oppose them are just racists." And he'll bring the IRA into London and before you know it the crown is dead. And everyone who loves their country and loves their God and goes to church on Sunday will be a racist. It's happening already. We need to stop this before it's too late. Both major parties are basically Marxists. Our democracy is a sham. The Common Wealth Party is portrayed as the Communists in this country, but they are not the only ones. That's what it seems like, but it's a ploy. They have to label someone else a Marxist so that it doesn't look like they are the Marxists!

Don't listen to their lies! Fight for freedom, for civilization, for God, and for Britain! The greatest country to ever grace the earth!"

*The crowd goes crazy with applause and cheers*
After reading Cochrane's remarks in the press, Stephen Harwick offers a comment to a local paper:

"This Cochrane bloke seems a brave chap, no doubt about that. I congratulate him on his courage -- it certainly takes bravery to not only openly attack one's own party leader publicly, but to unabashedly spew antisemitic rhetoric not seen since the days of Mosley and the British Union of Fascists -- now that is something one doesn't see often anymore. If this is the new direction in which the Tories are going, then I must commend them on their candour and transparency, though I do worry about the strain it will place on the NHS -- after all, there are only so many pyschiatric wards in this country."

Alexander Cochrane stood on top of a milk crate in downtown London with a letter in his hand. A crowd gathers around to hear him speak.

My fellow Britons. I have received a letter from none other than the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mister Parr himself. Now I'm just as aware as all of you that the Parr is married to a Jew, and that he has little Jewish children whom he indoctrinates with Judeo-Marxism just like they do to all of your children in school. Now this letter is very short. It simply says the obvious, that Parr is married to a dirty thief and that his children shun the Christian God in favor of Yahweh, who by the way is not the same God as the Christian God but is a Jewish war God that Jesus's disciples disavowed in favor of the Christian God. You can read all about it in my Bible Annotated by a True Christian.

But that is not the problem. No. Parr then goes on and mocks me and all God-fearing people who are scared for their life, and he says with the utmost arrogance expected of a faux pas ivory tower intellectual like him and he says -

*Cochrane reads the sentence in a very over exaggerated and stereotypical upper class accent and has an imaginary monocle on his eye*

"Irrefutable evidence of a Zionist conspiracy to take over Britain, I'm sure."

Can you believe the nerve of this man? He mocks your ordinary folks who worry about the future of this country. Who are a bit skeptical and ask a bit too many questions. Who love God and just want to practice their religion the way that God wanted them to. Who love their country. He mocks them!

Now I have received word that some shill for the party elite have chirped some comment which no doubt they did not think of themselves. You know, most MPs do not think for themselves but have staffers and the party elite that do the thinking for them.

Now this shill, Stephan Harwick, he called me an anti-Semite and compared me to the British Union of Fascists and Oswald Mosley. Now, I'm not an anti-Semite. I do not hate Jews. My childhood doctor was a Jew, okay? I do have a problem with certain Jews taking power for themselves in this country through undemocratic means. Parr is one of those. Bennett is one of those. And Gibbon was also one of those. Hell! Harwick is certainly one of their puppets. He'll do whatever they say. If they tell Harwick that 2 + 2 = 5, he'll believe them.

Now he also makes a little joke, clearly written by someone else, and he says -

*Cochrane puts his imaginary monocle back on and speaks like an aristocrat again*

"I do worry about the strain it will place on the NHS -- after all, there are only so many pyschiatric wards in this country."

*The crowd explodes with laughter*

Really now? This is so silly! Instead of debating me the little puppet has resorted to insults. I thought we had gotten rid of politicians purely insulting people. We must see through their lies and fight for King and for Country!

*Lord Scarsdale smiles at the free press coverage, although he is deeply concerned that any self-respecting paper would publish such malarkey*

This Conservative anti-Jewish diatribe is vile and disgusting. Have we not learned anything from what Hitler did to Europe? We should embrace our Jewish brethren and instead bond together against the xenophobes who dare spew such nonsense.

Upon hearing the remarks of the Labourite Cochrane responds to some reporters.

"I don't think we have learned a lot from Hitler. You see, Hitler destroyed democracy in Germany without anybody noticing. The same thing happens in this country. Just like the atheist Hitler destroyed Christian churches and replaced them with Hitler Youth, the atheist, excuse me, "secular" Marxists in the Labour party are destroying Christianity and are destroying democracy."

Sir Gibbons quietly has Alexander Cochrane ejected from the Conservative Party without fanfare. Cochrane simply fines himself no longer in the Conservative section of the opposition benches.

Cochrane is asked by a reporter on what his reaction is to his ejection from the Conservative Party.

"I'm not surprised. Gibbon doesn't like the truth. And for some reason he doesn't like that I attack the Labour Party a lot. I think that tells you something...I'm not leaving politics of course. I'm going to stay and fight for my people."

"Cochrane? One of those Force Britannia dinosaurs. Good riddance, I say."

Dear Lord Scarsdale,

It is with great joy I receive news of your engagement to the Conservative cause. I have long been an admirer of your economic and social writings, and many within the Party feel the same - especially after your courageous defence of the House of Lords.

I must inquire whether you intend to continue your service in the House of Lords, or whether you intend to disclaim your Peerage and run in the Commons, so that you might serve on the Conservative frontbench or potentially lead the Party should the Conservatives find ourselves in want of a Leader of the Opposition or, better yet, a Prime Minister after the election.
Yours Sincerely,
T. R. Jacobs

Public declaration on the matter of the fascistic MP

"Cochrane is the incarnation of the fascistic tendencies Britain defeated, together with the Soviet Union, in the war. This menace seeks to destroy humanity, and is a threat to the Labour Movement and Britain on it's whole. During the war, monsters with the same ideas as Cochrane massacred children and women, old and young, and tortured and famished populations. Our struggle against these forces of darkness and obscurity will continue, regardless of their methods, whether it is inside the Commons or on the battlefield to liberate Europe!"

Mr. Speaker,
It is to be assumed The Honourable Member for Chelsea has nor visited, nor been in contact with the democracies that are allied in the defensive and peace-loving Warsaw Pact. It is also to be assumed that the Honourable Member for Chelsea hasn't considered the technological progress or democracy in these countries, given that the capitalist and imperialist ideas of oppression the Honourable Member for Chelsea believes in do not permit it.

"Mr. Speaker, the Member for Dagenham's silence on the matter of how many Hungarians he has shot today is very disconcerting!"

Mr. Speaker,
Many members of this house, such as the Honourable Member for Chelsea, have been criticizing the actions in Hungary. I would rather like to criticize how the U.S (and thus the Toryist government) acted, by giving support to those who had attacked the people of Hungary. The Soviet intervention in Hungary is fully understandable, as the objective of it was to promote peace and fight back reactionary elements that had attacked Hungarians. Just as the we fought fascism during the war, the Labour Movement fights reactionary aggression today.

"I must admit I have a small amount of pity for the Member for Dagenham, Mr. Speaker, for he has spent the last decade lecturing this House on the crimes of imperialism, and now he must attempt the mental contortionry of justifying his beloved Warsaw Pact inflicting terrible horrors on an innocent nation! What credibility does this man and his Party have left, even within his fellow far-left socialists?

"It will be a bright day for British democracy, Mr. Speaker, when he loses his seat in the forthcoming election!"

Mr. Speaker,
It is clear that the Honourable Member for Chelsea has a very inconsistent view on what horrors are. His party has constantly been supporting crimes and desolation across the world in the so-called "British Empire". He preferred the fascist regime of Franco to the popular democracy that took over, which he condemned. His capitalist ideas have made Britain suffer increasingly, and his obedience underneath the U.S caused massacres in China, massacres which Britain could had prevented by standing on the side of their brothers. In Iran, a Tory government caused internal turmoil, and interfered to prevent the people from having their voice heard. His own party, the Tories are opposed to the British ideas of democracy and promote the House of Lords, a reactionary chamber of hereditary power. And now, paradoxically, an intervention by the Soviet Union to save the attacked people of Hungary from reactionary elements is what he criticizes, while he supposedly is opposed to fascism. That is to inflict horrors upon innocents, something which imperialists and capitalists of his party have been doing for the latest century.

- Jarlath Connor, Communist MP for Dagenham

The few Tories who bothered to turn up for this session jeer at his mention of the Lords, to the point where order has to be called.

"Mr. Speaker, did I hear the Member for Dagenham correctly? The Communists are so out of touch with reality that they consider the House of Lords comparable to a Soviet Invasion of an Independent Hungary!

The few Tories cheer.

"It is one thing to come before the Commons and defend the Warsaw Pact, but I hope the Member for Dagenham is prepared to go before his supporters in the pacifist and the Trade Union movements and make the same case to them. I think the response to him there will be a tad more un-Parliamentary!"

Mr. Speaker, I would like to propose a Private Members Bill to the House as Shadow Minister of Health.

Rampant pollution, smoke, and smog within our urban centers have become an immense risk to the well-being of millions of British city dwellers. Air pollution disproportionately causes illness and, in some cases, death in our most vunerable citizens - the young, the old, and the sick. Working class communities, as many within the Labour Party can attest, are also disproportionately inflicted by air pollution. As a citizen and a Conservative MP of the City of London, it is my moral obligation to put forth a bill to rectify this state of affairs - not as a partisan move of division, but as part of the tradition of British co-operation which this chamber embodies. I hope that this Private Members Bill will receive support on both sides of the Commons and ensure that our cities have clean air.

Clean Air Act (1958)

(Move Environmental Reform up a tick.)

Dear Mr. Jacobs,

I am honored that at least one person in Westminster has had the awareness to read one of my essays and find your hospitality towards me to be extremely pleasant - much more so than the vitriol spewed by Mr. Cochrane in the last few weeks. Prior to your letter I had never once considered the possibility of disclaiming my peerage. While this is due in part to some sort of dedication to the legacy of my family, I must admit that I had never considered a future in which I might have the opportunity to disclaim my peerage. While I believe you may be too eager to state that I may find myself in the leadership of the Conservative Party, it is certainly an interesting proposition, although I do worry about the potential accusations of entryism that may be directed towards me.

Certainly, I will consider your proposal in greater depth in the coming weeks, although I fear that, in my increasingly old age, it may soon be too late for any sort of meaningful impact upon the nation that I love. I suppose that, at such a time, one may only hope for good health and stability of mind. Regardless, I wish you success, Mr. Jacobs - perhaps we will soon find ourselves fighting on the very same side.

Yours Sincerely,

A clipping from the Wigan Daily.

"It is the sad announcement to make in this paper that the Right Honourable Sir Reginald Jeremy Gibbons, PC, RVO, OL, MP has passed away in his sleep. A bright man who was Prime Minister of Great Britain for a short period of time, he will be missed."

However, rumours swirl that he passed due to an overdose of codeine consumed habitually in his drinks since early 1951. Nothing could be confirmed, and his family closed ranks to all that would seek to confirm any such rumours.
