Hearts of Iron Anthology - Announcement

After discussions with retail and distributors worldwide we are really pleased to announce a Collectors Edition of the entire Hearts of Iron series, including Booster pack "Armageddon". We are calling it the "Hearts of Iron Anthology".

Many of you have contacted us personally, asking us to please get Armageddon onto retail shelf and enough retailers have jumped on the idea of a Collectors Edition with Armageddon to give us worldwide distribution

Hearts of Iron Anthology will feature Hearts of Iron, Hearts of Iron II, Hearts of Iron II: Doomsday and Booster pack Armageddon.

As with any Collectors Edition we have added some goodies for fans:
- a life-size "Paradox medal" of second rank with black and white ribbon, exclusive to Anthology
- a large strategy map featuring the entire world.

The product will retail for $29.99/€29.99 and the release is scheduled for end August.

Street date for Hearts of Iron Anthology confirmed
New York, USA (August 20, 2007) – Paradox Interactive confirmed today the street date of their next worldwide strategy release – Hearts of Iron Anthology.

Already a classic in the grand strategy genre, this complete collection will include the booster pack Armageddon, new to retail, Hearts of Iron, Hearts of Iron II and Hearts of Iron II: Doomsday. Just bought the same version as talked about above. It has the games, no activation code and no goodies. This was from the swedish site "spelbutiken.se". It was still sealed when I got it so it must've shipped without these things.

Yepp, my cd also has the text activation code and a white bar underneath. There isn't any letters on that white bar though.

Got a refund on my game as the description of it on the store's site didn't match what they sold me (it has since changed though as apparently as in Belnors case this version of the game ships without the extras).
