Is the difficulty on easy just a difference of 20 % IC, or are there any other bonuses or such for player and / or any negative effects for AI?

And the agressivness, whats that about? Im kinda curious since I cant tell...

you can also modify faction-specific bonuses and penalties. DH/db/difficulty file.


aggresiveness IMO affects tendency of AI to DoW in case a country exceeds belligerence threshold. And perhaps their activity in amph.landings as well but that could be counterproductive because aggresive AI could be invading with single divs in a suicidal manner as soon as they are finished rather than gathering a bigger force.

What is the belligerence threshold?

I've got to about 170 belligerence as Italy, and nobody cared on normal. It's kind of irritating...I want a challenge, and I want the world to be more involved.

democracies normally cannot start wars unless belligerence of another country is high enough. The needed value is detemined by interventionist/isolationist slider.

I think that if you put AI aggressiveness on "furious", it can encourage AI to DoW more but I don't know how exactly those chances work, it feels kind of random to me. There may be some hidden triggers and variables involved.

I've used furious before and it looks like they just attack more while in combat. Literally throw troops at you.

I do wish there were a more politically sensitive approach. Maybe bring those south american states out of their slumber.

well, you can easily set all values besides IC to zero, even in an ongoing game.

That´d be helpful. Id love to try do some sort of invasion AAR using WiF but Germany there has easily over 1000 IC and its really tough to even touch that as US with 500 during war...
got guides for that plox?

well, i wanna play US against Germany for AAR and really, deploying someplace else is rather weird the 700 IC difference is tad too much.
