Is it possible to edit some files to make it possible for the NGF to be formed without a few countries needed in its sphere? Then its possible to be a German OPM and still have NGF existing. Thanks

Of course it's possible to mod the game to allow that.

No, I'm not going to exert myself to explain how. Perhaps the good people in the modding forum will be nicer

why would you want to though?

you're going ot face almost constant pressure to join or die, and there no real benefit to being a OPM outside germany/NGF/SGF

Yeah, there is simply no reason to play an OPM in Victoria II, IMO. But you'll have better luck in the modding forum. I could help, but laziness does its thing. >.>

Creating NGF without beating Austria in a war should be impossible for flavour reasons, but that would in an ideal world be fixed by AI Austria not being useless at keeping control of Germany.

You just have to copy the bit that means you don't need Alsace-Lorraine to form the SGF.
