So my Emperor died and his son was made Emperor of my empire... problem is now the empire suddenly is a theocrazy and I have no clue as to how that happen. But well I got Game Over and can't do anything. Is that even possibly? :(

I wanted to continue the game, but theocracy isn't playable, don't remember if there is any DLC for this (I do have all the DLC's).

Also I was a tribal Empire (Which was quite funny :p) Even though I think I should have been able to convert to Feudalism already. Maybe that is the problem.
But my Emperor's son had the title Archbishop and I have no idea where he got that. I haven't given him any titles or holdings. :mellow:

So anyone feel free to explain this to me. :wacko:

hmm.. isn't Archbishop when bishop has control of county? or is that Prince Bishop.. its a strange one I typed a couple of things then deleted cuz f if I can figure it out.

If he was appointed Bishop accidently, then how could he inherit?

Did you maybe hold a church holding that got set as the capital for some reason? I know this could happen with Patricians winning crusades, not sure about succession.

Baron <=> Bishop
Count <=> Prince-Bishop
Duke <=> Prince-Archbishop
