"What do you mean, Vizier? Of course we are going to Dr. Klein's base! I will don my finest Ottoman robes!"
(( I love this, but I have not time for it, I hope people can join whenever they want))
((I'll be coming but I'll only be able to do my nice IC at around 10/11 AM EST))
Prepare yourself Lucio, for what I have planned has never been done before. It will launch my legions onto the world stage. The future citizens of the Roman Empire will learn to respect my power.
Get ready, Lucio, for I plan to kidnap the leader of the rebellious religious sect that corrupted the empire over a thousand years ago: the Pope.
I am sure you are quite shocked. But do not despair. I have planned this out very well. Below is a list of instructions.
To Take a Tyrant
Equipment and Manpower
As you are well aware, my legion so far is composed of a century of legionnaires as well as a decade of praetorians. However, with my trip to visit Dr. Klein, you will only have 9 decades of legionnaires and six praetorians. They are all going to be put to use. They will use their standard battle equipment unless stated otherwise. You are to provide seven explosives, all with enough power to level a 90 meter concrete bridge. You are also to provide localized radio jammers to all of the soldiers being deployed. Any other equipment you wish to use in the operation is up to you, as long as it is sensible and won't lead to the failure of the operation.
Order of Operations
ETK(Estimated time of Kidnapping) -8:00 hours - 10 legionnaires are to trickle into the Vatican City over the next 7 hours under the pretenses of tourism. They are to be wearing civilian clothes, but carry discrete pistols that can be easily hidden.
ETK -3:00 hours - 10 escape vans capable of holding at least a seven men are to be split between points B1 and B2. Be discrete where you drop them off. Each van will carry three legionnaires in full combat gear.
ETK -2:00 hours - 20 legionnaires are to be dispatched to nearby buildings at point A around Banca D'Italia. Five are to wear civilian clothes with body armor and hideable submachine guns. The 15 others are to be in standard combat gear.
ETK -1:30 hours - At points C1, C2, and C3, ten legionnaires are to be dispatched to each location. The groups at C1 and C2 will carry two bombs each, while the group at C3 will carry three bombs. At the three red X's on the west side of the map, two Praetorians each are to position themselves on the roofs of buildings in the area.
ETK -1:00 hours - The five legionnaires with civilian clothes are to enter Banca D'Italia to commence a bank heist. Why you might ask? This will distract the local police forces (which are quite limited I might add due to the state of the country. In fact, I do not think they have a specialized SWAT force like the USA does.)
ETK -0:45 hours - The police should have formed a weak blockade around the bank by now. The fifteen remaining legionnaires in combat gear are to break the blockade and then fortify themselves within the bank.
ETK -0:30 - Pope Paul VI is planned to have a public speech at this time. There should be a crowd. The 10 civilian clothed legionnaires are to position themselves at the front of the crowd.
ETK -0:20 - The groups at points C1, C2, and C3 are to plant explosives on each of the bridges and then place themselves on the west bank of the Tiber.
ETK -0:10 - After 20 minutes of the speech, the legionnaires are to pull out their weapons and take out any guards. They should have a problem since the only guards in the Vatican are the meager Swiss Guards. It does not matter if any civilians are killed. Blood must be shed in war. The pope should flee into St. Peters Basillica. Meanwhile, the groups at C1, C2, and C3 are to blow the bombs on the bridges. This is to prevent any reinforcements from getting to the Vatican. The Praetorians positioned at the red X's are to fire at any police seen coming to help the Vatican.
ETK -0:09 - Two legionnaires from each van (one will remain as a driver and to defend the van) will exit their vans and breach St. Peter's Basillica with the objective to capture the Pope. Do not take any hostages until the Pope is captured.
ETK 0:00 - The Pope should be found by now. After this, any cardinals you may find should be captured, as they are future candidates for Popes.
ETK 0:05 - All hostages will be placed into any of the vans but one van. This van will head south to pick up the Praetorians. Then, all the vans will head north to the lair. Make sure no one is following them. At the bank, any weak attempts to take the 20 legionnaires by the police should fail. At this time, they are to break any blockade and hijack any cars they see. They are to head north to the lair and escape. Again, make sure no one is watching.
(( Just a question Tapscott, how would this work? Would it be a plot order sent by many people or a normal order? ))
