The Bureau of Internal Affairs Act
- The Bureau of Internal Affairs (henceforth BIA) will be created
- The BIA will be led by a Director, he will be appointed by the Mayor and the Police Commissionair
- The Director of the BIA will have the same rank as the First Deputy Commissionair and he will recieve the same pay as the First Deputy Commissionair
- The BIA will be part of the NYPD, but it will answer directly to the Mayor
- The BIA will be tasked with fighting corruption in the New York Police Department and the New York City Government
- The BIA will be given the same funding as the Organized Crime Bureau, to organise the new unit - to recruite police officers and detectives, to create a working administration etc.
- The BIA will have 5 units:
BIA HQ Unit, headed by the Director, tasked with coordinating the other units in their fights against corruption
BIA NYPD Unit, headed by an Inpector, tasked with fighting corruption in the New York Police Department
BIA NYC Government Unit, headed by an Inspector, tasked with fighting corruption in the New York City Government
BIA Special Person Unit, headed by an Inspector, tasked with screening powerfull individuals who might be corrupt, it will also screen every person before he takes public office
BIA Legal Matters Unit, headed by an Inspector, tasked with solving the BIA's legal matters - prosecuting etc.
- The Director of the BIA will appoint the Inspectors of the BIA with the Mayor's and the Police Commissionair's approval
- The current employees of the Directorate of Internal Affairs will be given a promotion or the same job in the Bureau of Internal Affairs
