CK2 crashed. I guess during a savegame. Now I got "BROKEN SAVEGAME" written under the save game selection.

What are my options? This is ironman so there is only one savegame. Is that so dumb so there is absolutely no backup? Can I not get the latest valid version from steam cloud?

For the record:


[savegamehelper.cpp:160]: Warning: save games/Ironman_Konstantios.ck2 is missing valid file magix, defaulting to TEXT.

THE FILE IS COMPLETELY EMPTY!
 
This has just started to happen to me too.

I'm just playing a normal game I started a week or so ago and suddenly from today no save will work.

Strangely the auto save does work and can be reloaded.
