Wow this actually looks really cool, now will this map be Incorporated with the europe map? if so you could do a reverse version of Umbra Sphere

Looking excellent! In the distant future the possibilty for merging and even a modded compatible EUIV exporter for this only makes it even better. So many possibilities! I like howmany things are already implemented if the screenshots are to be believed. Makes hoping for this to come to fruition worth waiting for.

@naxhi24, sorry, no combining with the Europe map planned.

@Mitxel, the Mississippian religion is the Cahokians, the Illiniwek and Muskogee are the largest known descendant groups, so we chose to split the culture into three when you count the Cherokee (a little unsure of their origin so we threw them in). The Cahokians are actually the entire reason I wanted to make this mod so expect a lot more of them. I was thinking a HRE type elective government for them and low crown laws.

We plan on many culture specific decisions and events for all the groups.

Any chance of seeing expanded sea provinces outside of the Caribbean? The entire West Coast of both Americas looks like a mega sized version of Scandinavia in terms of sea province placement.

Norse are playable, yes. We will look at the Old Gods DLC closely and see if anything makes them too overpowered. Historically they were worn down and defeated by hostile natives, but you can always change that.

Inuit, will not be for the time being. A whole lot of space and very few people = not a high priority.

Rivers will by sailable by all cultures but the second wave (non-Norse) Europeans.

Second-wave Europeans?

The Norsemen are the first wave. We will have a Sunrise Invasion event with other Europeans showing up on the coast instead of Aztecs or Mongols in the main game. I was wanting to make it random so maybe it is the Spanish or maybe the French or English, but I am not sure, that is not the part I am working on.

Maybe you could have 3 invasions from the east and one invasion from the west. The French and Britich arrive in North America, and the Spanish hit somewhere in South or Central America. Then you could have a fantasy Mongol or Chinese invasion from the west similar to the Sunset Empire DLC (for the purposes of the modding the Mongols would probably be easier to make happen).

In my personal opinion Norse could just be another start instead of an actual invasion, not sure what time-frame you intend to place this in although I supposed bookmarks could take care of everything I just mentioned.

why not make very few de jure kingdoms and a lot of titular kingdoms, and a 30 absorbtion of whole duke lever holdings? it would be more in touch with the fluctuant nature of power in that area.
