Patch 1.2 for Magicka: Wizards of the Square tablet has been released today. Here are some of the spelltastic changes that came with it:
- Updated GameVersion to 1.2, MAGICALLY
- Update to cloud saving: Fluffier! Lighter!
* Now saves whole profile and overwrites local profile data instead of adding to it because we hated the old one so much
* New GUI for activation and resolving conflicts (like adults)
* Localisation for above, which means much more impenetrable technobabble in different languages
- Searching for Active Games won't show you the people you've declared "dead to you" (i.e. "blocked")
- Very talkative chatters will have their very important chat messages wrapped properly
- Added a localisation string for the network error "LostConnection" so everyone can be annoyed for a clear reason
- Updated localisation and GUI where localised text would overflow their GUI elements. Next update we will localise this sentence so we understand what it means.
- Pressing the Android back button in the main menu closes the game, as per Android application standards. Not that you'd ever want to, obviously.
