I have just bought Impire and finished the act1 (which was the tutorial). Now it took me back to the same screen from where I started act1 and I can not choose act 2. There are two places that I can see on the map but they are both act1. Is there a trick to start act2?

yea, same problem today, did the demo, liked it, bough the game, cannot advance to next act. want a fix quick!

There can be a bug with campaign map but I actually never used it.
In menu where you can upgrade Baal and choose ladder style you can also select difficulty level and mission which you wanna play. There, just get next mission (next mission should be selected as default) and proceed. Hope it helps!

No we cant do that, i've tried and there is no way I can play the second level, act or whatever
Same here, using the Steam version of the game if that makes any difference. Completed Act 1 (tutorial) twice now and can't continue to Act 2. Map shows 2 choices but both say Act 1. On menu's (where difficulty option
is) I can't change the scenario and the small skulls either side are red. Please fix soon, only got 1 more day off work!

Hmm, maybe there's problem with your Firewall - I believe that saved games are stored on Steam account, so if Firewall don't allow Impire to send informations, no save is done, so game don't see your progression.
Please check if Steam and Impire are allowed through Firewall.

Got the same problem over here aswell. Cant continue to act 2 no mather what i do, seems to be a bugg, would really appreciate if this could be fixed asap, since its rather frustrating.. :<
